EAST Thurrock United will not be in FA Cup action at this stage of the first time in three seasons.
John Coventry’s team will instead travel to Harrow Borough for a Ryman Premier League clash.
Rocks made the First Round proper in 2011 before succumbing to Macclesfield Town lost to Hornchurch in the last round following a replay.
Having also reached the Fourth Qualifying Round last season, Coventry said it was a shame not to still be in the competition, but added his team must focus on their league match.
“It is a massive disappointment not to be in the cup,” he said.
“We knew at the replay whoever won would be playing a team a couple of levels below us, so it was a good chance to have another run in the cup.
“Harrow will be tough and I know their manager well and I know he will make it difficult for us.
“But we are making progress with a new look squad even though we are not quite the finished article.”
