RYAN caused an upset by dumping Hannakins Farm out of the Senior Division Cup.

Premier Division side Hannakins, from Billericay, crashed out 4-2 to their hosts, who play in Division Two.

White Ensign suffered a 5-0 defeat at home to Southminster St Leonards, with the victory putting Saints top of the Premier Division table.

Greig Taylor had scored hat-tricks in his last two games but bagged four for Southminster against Ensign, with Tom Hine adding the other goal.

Benfleet lost 5-2 in Division One to Old Barkabbeyans, who trail early season leaders Springfield by a point.

Ongar Town took over at the new leaders of Division Two following a 2-1 win at Basildon Town.

Jack Main scored for Basildon but Graham Jeater and Ben Polley secured the win for Ongar.

Runwell Hospital slipped to second after being held to a 2-2 draw by Broomfield.

Stambridge United pushed Snaresbrook all the way but were unable to stop their hosts going top of the table on goal difference following a 5-2 win.
