SOUTHENDIAN Ladies won their battle with the Assandun Vikings, thrashing them 8-0.
Rhianne Cunningham got the ball rolling in the seventh minute, scoring after being put through by Paige White.
Lucy Dalgarno was the provider for number two, setting up Georgia Holdaway to score in the 16th minute.
Southendian then made it 3-0 halfway through the first half when Cunningham put Holdaway through to score her second of the match.
Shannon Mackie was next on the score-sheet, firing in from a narrow angle before Holdaway met a Nikhol Chapman corner with a diving header to complete her treble.
Two minutes before the interval it was 6-0 when Tracy Rodd set up Holdaway to bag her fourth of the game.
Mackie got her second of the game 12 minutes into the second half, volleying in after Chapman got a touch on a Rodd cross.
And the scoring was wrapped up a couple of minutes from full time when Mackie completed her hat-trick, looping the ball over the Assandun keeper following a Gabi Bailey free kick.
