ROCHFORD Hundred secured a fourth win in succession, beating Lowestoft & Yarmouth 65-6 in London Two North East.
Third placed Rochford scored 11 tries to come out on top against their bottom of the table hosts.
And they dominated a one-sided encounter right from the start of the game.
Winger Marcus Spremulli started the scoring spree almost from kick off and Tom Ashton added the conversion.
Lowestoft reduced the deficit with a penalty before the impressive Tom Pickering, who was playing at scrum half, broke through to score and Ashton again kicked the extras.
Some fast flowing rugby by the visitors continued but further tries were thwarted by some good Lowestoft defence and also over-elaborate play by Rochford .
Eventually the pressure paid off though and Ashton raced through to score another try to take the score line to 19 – 3.
Further tries by the ever improving number eight Scott Horsburgh and centre Matt Stewart, which were both converted by Ashton, followed but another penalty kick by the home team ended first half proceedings and Rochford turned round 33 – 6 up at the break.
The second half continued in the same vain with Rochford forcing the pace and the Suffolk side showing plenty of spirit and grit trying to keep them at bay.
Although Rochford, on occasions, did not finish as clinically as they should have done they did score six more tries.
Pickering scored two of them while Horsburgh, Stewart ,Ryan Stephenson and Mike Stemp also touched down.
But, with Ashton off injured, only one of the tries was converted.
Rochford will now be aiming to make it 12 wins in 13 games when they end their season at home to seventh placed Enfield Ignatians on Saturday.
