SOUTHEND Spartans Rugby League side will be fighting fit for the start of the new season after agreeing a new sponsorship deal.
The Spartans, who kick off their East of England Premiership campaign next month, have teamed up with Rush Fitness’ new 24/7 gym in Victoria Avenue, Southend.
And Spartans’ head coach Gareth Barron insists the club are thrilled to have received their backing.
“There is a real buzz around the team this season as we step up to the premier league,” said Barron.
“We have a good set of lads and through our relationship with Rush Fitness; we have access to some of the best training facilities in the local area.
“We’re looking forward to good things.”
