SOUTHEND United loanee Jakub Sokolik is targeting a double celebration at the end of the season.
The Czech defender is keen to help the Shrimpers clinch promotion.
And he is also desperate for his parent club Liverpool to win the Premier League.
“It would be very nice if I can win promotion with Southend and Liverpool can win the league,” said Sokolik.
“It’s a big weekend for us both because we have an important game against AFC Wimbledon and Liverpool play Manchester City.
“But hopefully we can both win and keep our good runs going.”
The 20-year-old centre back has been in fine form for Blues since signing on loan from the Anfield giants.
The Shrimpers have not lost in the five games Sokolik has started and have conceded just one goal during that time.
And he wants another shut out against AFC Wimbledon tomorrow in a game which looks set to be watched by more than 7,000 fans.
“We were disappointed to concede at Cheltenham so now we want to keep a clean sheet when we play Wimbledon,” said Sokolik.
“I don’t really know anything about them if I’m honest but enjoying these games and I can’t wait to play in this one.
“It’s the first time I’ve been playing regular senior first team football and it’s been going really well so far.
“I want to try and keep that going now and help Southend get promotion and things are going well at the moment so we’re confident we can do it.
“I haven’t lost since I’ve been here and I want that to continue for as long as possible.”
Blues head in to the game sitting sixth in the League Two table and will be looking for a fourth successive win.
But John White (hamstring), Ryan Leonard (ankle) and Kevan Hurst (calf) will all face late fitness tests.
Back up goalkeeper Paul Smith is also doubtful with a calf problem and Luke Chambers could therefore remain on the substitutes bench.
