EAST Thurrock United remain just outside the Ryman Premier League relegation zone following a 1-1 draw against Metropolitan Police.
But there were defeats for Canvey Island and Billericay Town on the road.
Lewis Smith scored Rocks' equaliser in the 48th minute to cancel out Charlie Collins' 16th-minute opener for Met Police in front of 145 fans.
The stalemate means Rocks stay in 20th place and outside the relegation places on goal difference.
Canvey went down 2-0 in front of a 101-strong crowd at Thamesmead Town.
Robert Carter put the hosts in front in the ninth minute and Leslie Thompson doubled the advantage in the 47th minute.
The result left Canvey 12th in the table, a place and two points adrift of Billericay.
Jake Reed's 75th minute goal handed Lowestoft Town a 1-0 win at home to Billericay Town in a game watched by 668 fans.
- Essex Senior League leaders Great Wakering Rovers strengthened their championship ambitions with a 2-0 win at Greenhouse London.
Jay Nash gave Wakering a fifth-minute lead and completed his brace a quarter of an hour later.
But Bowers & Pitsea went down 3-0 at home to FC Romania after Claudia Ranucanu put the visitors in front.
Constantin Vladdi scored Romania's second in the 49th minute and Florin Telecaci wrapped up the win in the 62 minute.
