BEN Coker insists Southend United are not bothered who they face in the League Two play-offs.
The Shrimpers made sure of a top seven finish by drawing 1-1 at Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
But Coker is not concerned who Blues will now face in the end of season show-down And the full-back is backing the team to beat whoever they face out of Fleetwood, Burton or York City.
“I don’t think we’re really too worried about who we play in the play-offs or whether or not we’re at home first or second because we’re confident we can win whatever,” said Coker.
“We’ve beaten all three of the teams in the play-offs already this season so we have the belief that we can do it again.
“We will just focus on ourselves and winning the two games to make sure we get through to the final.”
Before then however, Blues – who are currently seventh in the standings – complete their league campaign at home to Burton this weekend.
And Coker feels is it important for the Shrimpers to produce another positive performance.
“Every game you play is important and this one is no different,” said the defender.
“We want to pick up another good result to make sure we’re in the best shape possible going in to the play-offs.
“We could also end up playing Burton in the play-offs so it could also help us put a marker down against them.”
Blues head in to the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Fleetwood last weekend.
The match was Coker’s 50th of the season but he remains disappointed not to have won a penalty late on after appearing to be pulled back by defender Liam Hogan.
“Their player pulled at my arm twice and I’ve seen it again on the replay, it’s a definite penalty and I was fuming it wasn’t given,” said the 24-year-old.
“I guess sometimes you get them and sometimes you don’t but it was disappointing it wasn’t given.
“The referee didn’t really say anything to me to explain why it wasn’t given.
“But it was another good performance from us and that’s the most important thing.”
