BURTON Albion boss Gary Rowett is confident his full strength side will have more than enough to see off Southend United in the play-offs.
Rowett made five changes to his starting line-up for Saturday's clash at Roots Hall.
And he is now convinced his returning players will be able to brush Blues aside.
“The best thing for me is that was Southend's strongest side and we know we will be a lot stronger in the play-offs with the number of players coming back into the team,” said Rowett.
“I used this game to see how Southend would play and we've learnt a lot which I'm happy about.”
Burton will be back at Roots Hall for the second leg of the semi-final in a fortnight's time.
But that does not concern Rowett.
“If I'm honest playing away from home in the second leg is what I wanted regardless of what team we were playing,” said the former Derby County defender.
“I'm not arrogant enough to pick a team I want to play against but I believe our style of football will suit us playing away in the second leg and putting pressure on the home team.”
