Southend United stormed through to the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time in 14 years, with a well deserved 2-0 replay win at Barnsley last night.
Goals from Kevin Maher and Lee Bradbury finally buried the Tykes and Blues will feel justice has been done after conceding a debatable late equaliser in the original clash between the two sides.
The Shrimpers were left fuming when Michael Coulson's effort was allowed to stand in stoppage time at Roots Hall.
But there were no complaints this time around as Southend easily cruised through to the next stage.
