COMMONWEALTH Games stars Hayley McLean and Oliver Dingley have been mixing with royalty in the athletes village.
Teenage hurdles star McLean, from Stanford-le-Hope, managed to sneak a selfie with the highest royal there is after taking this snap of herself and the Queen as she toured the village.
McLean then took another shot of herself inside Hampden Park yesterday before saying she was going off Twitter until after her competition.
Diving star Dingley, meanwhile, bumped into a knight of the realm in the laundry room of all places.
The Southend Diving Club member went to collect his washing when he saw cycling legend Sir Bradley Wiggins doing exactly the same.
Meanwhile, medal hopeful Max Whitlock, of South Essex Gym Club posted his last picture of training before his competition starts on Monday afternoon, posing with his England team-mates and his coach Scott Hann
Finally, Echo reporter Chris Phillips has made it to Glasgow and got his first experience of action at the Rugby Sevens on Sunday night where he found himself in the minority cheering on England!
