SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has selected an unchanged starting line-up for this afternoon’s game at Tranmere Rovers.
As a result, captain John White will remain at left-back with Adam Thompson on the opposite side of the defence.
In the middle, Cian Bolger keeps his place in the side alongside Luke Prosser as Jerome Binnom-Williams and Jakub Sokolik, who both missed last weekend’s win against Hartlepool United through suspension, drop down on to the bench.
They will be joined among the substitutes by Myles Weston who was also absent last weekend as he was on international duty with Antigua.
However, there is no place in the matchday squad for midfielder Gary Deegan whose three month contract expires after today’s game at Prenton Park.
Southend United: Bentley, Thompson, Bolger, Prosser, White, Worrall, Leonard, Timlin, Hurst, Payne, Corr
Substitutes: Weston, Atkinson, Clifford, Coulthirst, P. Smith, Binnom-Williams & Sokolik.
