From a personal point of view it's very frustrating to miss this weekend's trip to Stoke City with a one match suspension.
That's the way it seems to be going for me this season though - it's been very stop start - but sometimes these things happen and you just have to deal with them.
But I feel it's time that they looked at the rules because bookings are given for everything these days and it is very easy to pick up five in quick succession.
People like Alan McCormack and Kevin Maher have also been hit by this just lately and it does seem strange that in terms of suspensions they don't split the season up evenly.
At present you have from August to the end of February - seven months - to avoid getting five bookings and then it's the same from the start of March until May - two months.
Surely it would be better to split it evenly and have it up until the end of December for the first section because it just doesn't seem to make much sense.
Elsewhere, we should soon be getting the voting forms through from the PFA for their end of season awards.
We have to pick what we think would be the best team from players made up from all the clubs in the Championship, excluding us, and then a player of the season from all the leagues as well.
I will personally be voting for Paul Scholes of Manchester United because he's a player I've always liked and he has been superb for them this season.
I know his team mate Ronaldo has been outstanding too, but for me it's Scholes who has been really on top of his game and the shining light at Old Trafford.
Closer to home, it was superb for us to go to Birmingham and win 3-1 in what I think has to be our best result in the league so far this season.
It's great to look at the table now and not see us bottom and the belief is there that we're going to get out of trouble.
We're four points from safety and we want to keep this run we're on at the moment going for as long as possible.
