KIERAN Kennedy will not be coming on trial to Southend United after deciding to sign for Motherwell.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who was recently released by Leicester City, had been due to team up with the Shrimpers today and line-up against Great Wakering Rovers on Wednesday.
But Blues boss Phil Brown has confirmed Kennedy will now not be arriving at Roots Hall.
“Kieran was due to come in for us to have a look at him but he’s got himself a move to Motherwell now and good luck to him,” said Brown.
“At the moment we have no other trialists due to come in but we are hopeful of bringing a couple in to play in the three matches we have coming up this week.”
