WESTCLIFF will be looking to turn the National Three London & SE form guide on its head when they host Tonbridge Juddian tomorrow.
Westcliff have lost all four of their matches so far this season, whereas league leaders Tonbridge have yet to be beaten.
And Westcliff’s director of rugby Nick Sigwart is expecting another stern test this weekend.
“We know how tough a proposition TJs are from our previous encounters with them and they are going very well this season,” said Sigwart.
“TJs came up into National Three London & SE with us a few seasons ago and games between us have usually been quite high scoring affairs.”
Sigwart is therefore expecting more of the same tomorrow and is keen for his own side to step up their own form.
“We have played some very good rugby in bursts this season and competed in every game,” said Sigwart.
“The lads showed real commitment and heart last week against Hertford and our task now is to string all these elements together.
“If we achieve this, we believe the wins will come.”
Westcliff will be welcoming back prop forward Ewan Binneman alongside fellow front rower Randal Whitmore this weekend.
Openside flanker Jeff Meredith is also available again after he missed out last weekend with a freak toe injury.
