THE MATCH: East Thurrock United will be grateful to finally end their season having secured their league status last month.
Rocks have lost their last five games and have been looking at the finishing line for some time now as injuries take their toll on John Coventry’s squad.
A 6-1 defeat at Havant & Waterlooville on Wednesday will have hurt Rocks, with the result an unfair portrayal over 90 minutes.
And they are playing a team with plenty at stake. Hungerford know only victory will assure them of their place in the division next season following Tuesday night’s defeat at Concord Rangers.
A point above Poole Town – who host Oxford City – Hungerford will want to leave nothing to chance at Rookery Hill.
The previous encounter ended 2-2 – with Max Cornhill and Sam Higgins goals ensuring a point after Rocks trailed 2-0.
THE INSIGHT: “Despite the result the lads were fantastic against Havant,” said Coventry.
"We stuck to the game plan and for 55 minutes it was working fine. Havant were edgy because of their position but once they got ahead they looked like a title winning side.
“It is a tough end to the season and I must remember the first half where we were excellent. “I am proud of all we achieved. I am also pleased for Concord who should be proud of what they have achieved too.
“We have a responsibility to the league to do our best. We will do that tomorrow.”
THE TEAM NEWS: Rocks will be without a number of key players.
