EAST Thurrock United are still searching for their first away win of the National League South season after suffering a 3-1 defeat at Slough Town.
Ryan Scott's strike proved not to be enough as a Chris Flood brace and James Dobson effort allowed Slough to claim all three points at Arbour Park.
The hosts took advantage of Rocks' defensive frailties by breaking the deadlock inside two minutes as Flood swept home.
But East Thurrock were back on level terms with 25 minutes on the clock as Scott bundled a Harry Lee throw-in into the back of the net from close range.
However, Rocks were level for just five minutes as Flood completed his brace.
Slough wrapped up the pre-Christmas victory as Dobson sent a long range strike crashing beyond goalkeeper Jack Giddens.
