SOUTHEND United striker Theo Robinson has returned to Colchester United for the U’s play-off campaign.
Robinson spent the majority of the season on loan at Colchester, scoring 12 goals.
And U’s chairman Robbie Cowling has now confirmed the 31-year-old will now also feature in their play-off semi-final against Exeter City which begins next week.
"Another player recalled is Theo Robinson, who has also returned to finish the job even though he knows his future will lie elsewhere," said Cowling.
"I know Southend United are local rivals as far as fans are concerned but we have a very good relationship with them at board level and they have been very supportive regarding Theo's return."
Robinson is out of contract with the Shrimpers this summer.
