FORMER Southend United assistant manager Theo Foley has passed away at the age of 83.
Foley worked alongside former Shrimpers bosses Ronnie Whelan and Peter Taylor during the mid 1990s and enjoyed a fine career as both a player and a coach.

As a coach, he is best remembered for working with George Graham and helping the Gunners win the Division One title back in 1989.
