SOUTHEND United have today revealed the options open to last season's season card holders.
The Shrimpers still have five home games to be played when the campaign was curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But a club statement has now confirmed supporters can donate their money to the club or use it towards another season card for next season.
The statement said: "Southend United can confirm the planned options available to the 2019/20 season card holders, seasonal hospitality members, home and away match ticket purchasers plus match hospitality purchasers following the curtailment of the season.
"Following feedback in our supporters group meeting we know that a significant number of fans do not wish to receive a refund on these games to help the club through this difficult time, we are extremely thankful for your support and the gesture.
"We also appreciate that this pandemic has been detrimental to individuals, especially their financial situation and we have tried our best to accommodate different needs to each supporter as we understand that ‘one size does not fit all’, whilst also trying to sustain the financial situation of the club.
"Fans who do not wish to receive a refund will be added into a prize draw as a thank you from the club to be in with the chance to win the below, and in the future we will also look at other initiatives available when we have clearer vision."
Prizes include a chance to be in the official 2020/21 squad photo, a training ground visit and opportunity to meet the first team, travel with the first team to a game and directors box tickets for two when safe to return following EFL guidance.
Other prizes are free pitch hire booking to play at Roots Hall with family and friends, to train with a number of the first team squad and have lunch with the team, to sponsor a player for the season as part of the player sponsorship package, to lead the team out with a 12th man package and an official, personalised shirt of your choice.
Signed shirts and a free season card are also up for grabs and fans have been given two choices.
The statement added: "Any fan who has purchased a match ticket for any of the remaining five home games of the 2019/20 season at Roots Hall also has the below options to choose from.
"Option one: I would like to donate my outstanding home match ticket balance to help Southend United and the Southend United Academy during these difficult times whilst also being added to the prize draw.
"Option two: I would like to use my outstanding home match ticket balance as part of my payment for a 2020/21 season card (when safe to return to the stadium)."
Fans who purchased tickets for away games have also been given the same two options.
