DANNY Brown has been named as Billericay Town's interim manager.
The National League South club parted company with Jamie O'Hara last week.
And a Town spokesman confirmed Brown, who is currently the club's colt head of coaching, has been placed in charge until a new manager is named.
"Whilst we conduct the search for a new manager, we are pleased to announce that Danny Brown has been put in charge of the men’s first team squad as interim manager," said the spokesman.
"Danny will be supported by our team captain Ronnie Henry.
"The club’s thanks go to both guys for stepping in and we know that the players and fans will get behind them.
"It is vitally important that we make the right permanent appointment and we will take the time required to do that."
Billericay are currently 16th in the table.
