SATURDAY'S 2-2 draw at home to Eastbourne Borough saw Concord Rangers rise to 15th in the National League South table, reports Leon Imber.
Alex Wall opened the scoring nine minutes in, and new signing Lewis Simper doubled the Beachboys’ lead just before the half-time interval.
However, Danny Scopes’ men were undone in the second half by two goals in the space of two minutes by Charlie Lambert and Chris Welpdale.
The result is not a bad one for Concord though, as their East Sussex based opponents sit fifth in the standings.
Elsewhere, Hashtag United beat Sawbridgeworth Town 1-0 at the Len Salmon Stadium in the Essex Senior League.
Kris Newby was on target with an excellent strike from 30 yards out.
The Tags are top of the division by two points and have three games in hand on Stansted, the team below them.
In Essex Senior League action, Southend Manor hosted Stansted and were beaten 1-0.
Manor sit 13th in the league table.
