AS a result of a postponement on Tuesday evening, Concord Rangers play out their home tie against Truro City in the FA Trophy this Saturday, reports Leon Imber.
The Beach Boys are favourites for this tie with Truro competing in the Southern Football League while the hosts compete in the National League South.
Danny Scopes’ side play in this round of fixtures despite still waiting to compete in the final of this competition from last season at Wembley.
The match was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Concord have lost just one of their last four matches in the league and drew 2-2 last time out against a good Eastbourne Borough side.
Their opponents this weekend last played two weeks ago when they emphatically beat Moneyfields 5-1 in the trophy.
Such result shows that Concord cannot afford to be complacent this weekend.
The hosts will be looking to Alex Wall to be a prominent figure this weekend.
The striker was on target last time out for Scopes’ men and scored the winner in the FA Trophy semi finals last season to take Concord to Wembley.
