CONCORD Rangers have announced they will not be playing any more matches in National League South until further clarification is given on the future of the competition and its funding.
National League clubs met yesterday to discuss a way forward during the coronavirus pandemic.
But chairman Ant Smith has now taken to social media to confirm his side will not be taking to the pitch as things currently stand.
He tweeted: “On further reflection of the meeting yesterday our club will not be competing in any further fixtures within the National League South until we have clearer information on:
“Financial support on the regular testing of players and staff. We are the only ‘elite’ competition that are not doing this.
“The financial support as discussed in yesterday’s meeting.”
Concord, who are 18th in the table, had been due to host Havant & Waterlooville this weekend.
