ON LOAN Arsenal midfielder James Olayinka is due back at Southend United later this week.

The 20-year-old has been out since mid-January with an ankle injury.

But Blues boss Mark Molesley expects Olayinka to soon be making a return to Roots Hall.

“We’re hoping to have him back in the building at the end of the week,” said Molesley.

“He’s going to need a week to 10 days of training with the team but he’s a very talented player.

“Seeing him running around in a Southend shirt will be a great sight and we’re looking forward to having him back in the building.”

Olayinka has scored three goals in 16 games for Blues this season.
