OLDHAM Athletic have sacked Harry Kewell as head coach, just a day after the Latics' 0-0 draw with Southend United at Boundary Park.
Oldham are currently 16th in the League Two and have opted to part company with the former Leeds and Liverpool winger.
A club statement said: "Harry Kewell has today been relieved of his duties as head coach of Oldham Athletic.
"Arriving in August 2020 he now leaves along with his assistant, Alan Maybury.
"We would like to thank both for their efforts this season and wish them well in the future."
