Two more defibrillators have recently been supplied.
One to running group, Flyers Southend who raised half the cost themselves last Christmas with a “12 days of Christmas challenge”.
The other was presented to Southend AC who were recently awarded the defibrillator as winners of a virtual relay hosted by the charity Finish Line Fund.

Secretary Mark Benham said: “We are delighted to supply these two defibrillators to two Southend based running club’s especially given the high membership of both clubs.
"We received terrific feedback about the virtual relay we arranged too."
"Across the 10 hours of the event, 390 local runners competed from eight Essex based running clubs and the support for the event was fantastic.
"Additionally we are really pleased to have recently supported clubs across the sports of football, basketball, cricket, and martial arts.
