FORMER Southend United loanee Shaq Coulthirst has joined Billericay Town.
The striker, who had been back training with the Shrimpers earlier this season, is in line to make his Town debut at Chippenham Town this weekend.
And Coulthirst is pleased to be teaming up with the National League South strugglers.
“It’s good to get it done,” said Coulthirst.
“I’ve been training with the team for a little bit now and getting to know everyone so I’ve had that period.
“It’s good to finally get it over the line.”
And Coulthirst is confident Billericay can soon work their way off the foot of the table.
“We’ve got a good team, I’ve seen it in training,” said the 27-year-old.
“We’ve just got to transfer it into the games and get the confidence going.”
Coulhirst scored four goals in 25 games with Southend during the 2014/15 season.
