SOUTHEND United's fans have their say on Tuesday's 2-1 win against Barnet at Roots Hall.
Atkinson and Dennis are pure examples of how this management team are light years ahead of what came before. You can sign all you want but if you can improve what you have also then you will have success. Long way to go but we may have our club back.
@piershewitt
Another hard earned, battling win. Barnet were better than I expected but we found a way. Good poacher's goals for Dennis, both from marauding runs from the wing backs. Enjoying this whole winning football matches again thing.
@Moorhouse79
Kevin Maher is a god that walks among us.
@PeterRMiles
Not a great performance but the spirit and work rate of this side is a joy to watch after recent seasons. Clifford and Atkinson were excellent tonight and with Dennis on fire, who knows how far we can go with this momentum we have. Bromley will be a good gauge next week.
@Jones616Kevin
Determination, effort, passion, desire. All things so severely lacking in seasons past, now a given. Kev, Daz and Benno giving us a team to be proud of again. Thought Noor and especially Dalby were absolutely brilliant.

Something is going on at the Hall! Another good win that had everything. Shows the value of a settled started 11 and having a coaching team who know what they’re doing. I’m not used to this whole winning business!
@Ljarvis27
Good first half, started brightly. Looked sluggish and wobbly at times in the second. Got drawn into Barnet's game plan. Ultimately a good win against a better side.
@NGP1978
Started off the game strongly and thought we could go on to win by three or four, but Barnet came back into it. The game got tight and scrappy, but rather than capitulate like we would have done weeks ago, we showed some steel and saw the game out. Great to see. Up the Blues.
@shrimperlee
Whatever Will Atkinson has for lunch I want some.He was immense again tonight and was still running in the 90th minute. man of the match again tonight for me followed closely by Lopata and Clifford who showed tonight that he is an accomplished midfielder.
@YeattsMatthew
Not pretty for large parts but Dennis took his chances (gifts). Dug in and got another result.
@plbacon
Not the greatest performance but the lads worked their socks off and ground out another win. A game we would have thrown away three months ago the team is really coming together. Dalby was superb tonight. Keep it going Blues.
@dan_mays86
Anyone else wondering what the hell Dalby is doing in non league? He may not have the goals to show for his effort but he’s absolutely brilliant linking play and that first touch he has.
@MobbsLloyd
Atkinson gets better every game. Clifford mature beyond his years. Officials awful, especially third official by East Stand. Good tough game. Love the new fighting spirit.
@SantiagoCrabby
My overwhelming feeling, at risk of putting myself out there, is emotional. I honestly had begun to believe this club had gone beyond saving but, as I look at the table tonight, I'm just so grateful to the players and staff for dragging us forward that it's a bit emotional.
@ShaunMalone1997
Football is fun again.
@JimboCambo
Can everyone please stop mentioning the 'P' word.
