SOUTHEND United striker Jake Hyde is back in training after recovering from a hamstring problem.
The on loan Wrexham forward went off injured against Boreham Wood on his Blues debut.
But Shrimpers boss Kevin Maher is hopeful Hyde will soon be available again.
“Jake was training again on Tuesday and he is due to train again tomorrow which is good news,” said Maher.
“We’ll see how he is and will continue to assess him before seeing if he will be ready to be involved for Barnet on Saturday.
“But it’s good to see him out there again.”
Blues have been short of striking options this season with Rhys Murphy (knee) and Harry Cardwell (ankle) both sidelined.
