SOUTHEND United have signed Salford City striker Marcus Dackers on a month long loan deal.
The 19-year-old - who is six foot seven inches tall - played for both Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion during his youth before joining Salford in July 2021.
Since then, Dackers has spent time on loan with Stalybridge Celtic and Chester.

The forward scored seven goals in eight league games for Stalybridge and netted eight times in 19 league appearances for Chester.
Dackers, who has made four substitute appearances for Salford, has also represented Wales at under 16 and under 17 levels and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's match at Barnet.
