DUE to last weekend's poor weather, the outcome of Thorpe Hall's Centenary Salver - the first of last year's centenary competitions to be played - will not be announced until the second day is completed.
The event was snowed off on Sunday and officials are, at the moment, trying to fit it into an already full fixture list.
The Founders Cup, a singles Stableford, was played on Sunday and the clear winner was Roy Knowles, with 40 points off 14 handicap. He has been cut to 13.
Second was Paul King, with 38 points off four and he has been cut to three.
Third was Leslie Wood team captain Ronnie Neale, who scored 37 points off 11 and he was cut from to 10.
