BASILDON teenager Aaron "Azzy" Charles won more karting glory by winning the three-round championship at Rotax Minimax Class.
Charles, 13, a two-time Wildtracks TKM Junior Kart Champion, had all but secured the winter title the previous weekend at the Ellough Park raceway in Beccles.
His two heat wins saw him lead from beginning to end in the final, leaving him with a lead of 85 points as well as taking the two fastest laps.
This past weekend's racing at Rye House in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, had Charles in second out of 18 karts after the heats.
He was still the fastest of the day, and after four laps had passed the driver in pole position. From there he took the chequered flag 11 seconds ahead of second place, once more with another fastest lap.
Charles' karting career is going from strength to strength and he thanked Marc Dawson and Rick at Grice Racing Basildon for his excellent engine preparation.
