THORPE Hall's Richard McEvoy produced a superb four under par final round of 67 to guarantee a good-sized cheque for his efforts in the Colombian Open in Bogota.
His closing 18 holes, among the best of the day, looked set to see him finish in the top 10 with an overall five under par total.
McEvoy had started in great style with a three under par 68, but then had two one over 72s. After collecting cash from two European Challenge Tour events in Argentina, McEvoy's latest success will give him a big lift in the merit table.
