MILLERS slipped to their first home defeat under manager Rod Stringer and with tonight's Essex Thames-side Trophy clash with Brimsdown Rovers in mind, Stringer will hope this is merely a blip.
Millers took the lead in the seventh minute when Ben Bradbury lobbed keeper Rhys Madden. Cody McDonald got Witham's first when he scored from six yards from a Rob King cross and McDonald turned provider on 69 minutes, setting up Julian Edwards for a tap in.
