A BUSY month at Thorpe Hall saw the Secretary's team beat off the Lady Captain's team.
Elsewhere Beverly Bonora and Alison Cotgrove qualified for the Coronation Foursomes with a score of 37 points.
The Bradban Cup was run over 13 holes with Mandy Grant (29 points) first followed by Margaret Easton with 26.
The Veterans' Cup was also contested this month and Joan McSorley was the winner with 35 points followed by Shirley Dalman (34) and Lorna Lawrie (32).
The Silver Division winner of the March Stableford was Julie Crocker on countback from Beryl Barber and Helen Morgan who all scored 35 points.
Olivia Frost took top place in the Bronze Division with 36 points, followed by Penny Shiret on countback from Joan McSorley, both scoring 35 points.
The top place in the April Medal went to Barbara Ridgewell with 77 net followed by Lucille Palmer-Moth (78). Both are Silver Division players The winner in the Bronze Division was Shirley Dalman (72 net) followed by Helen Knatchbull (77) and Jill James (79).
The winning trio in a nine-hole Texas Scramble were Alison Cotgrove, Dawn Brown and Jenny Welfare with 32 net closely followed by Phylis Pinkerton. Aurdey Caink and Helen Morgan, who scored 33.
Betty Austin, Mandy Bridge, Wendy Welton and Yvonne Buzer were the winning team in a Fourball Aggregate Stableford competition with a score of 52 points.
April showers also caused some cancellations but the Medal and Stableford were completed with three Thornton Cup and Leslie Wood candidates in good form.
On Saturday Division One medal winner was David Peters, one of the top Thornton Cup players, with a net 68 off two handicap, from Mickey Davis, with a net 71 off 10. The latter is a Leslie Wood candidate.
Division two medal winner was Neill Johns, with a net 66 off 13, and he goes down to 12 and up to division one. Second was Christopher Lloyd, with a net 69 off 15 handicap.
On Sunday, Thornton Cup player Paul King won the Division One Stableford with 39 points off four - reduced to three - and Peter Goldring second (37 off nine) and pushing for a Leslie Wood spot.
Division two winner was Michael Coles, with 41 points off 20 but now reduced to 18.Second, with 40 points also off 20 but reduced to 19, was Daryl Pearman.
Cadet Christopher Gant had 39 off 16 and has been reduced to 15.
