CARLISLE boss John Ward insists Southend United are reaping the rewards of sticking with manager Steve Tilson.
"They have kept their management, they've kept it calm and they've got their rewards by coming back into the top six," he said. "They've spent a lot of mon-ey but they've done very well.
"They've got to try and get a point or two more to clinch their play-off place, and we've got to try and get our three points, so it will be a good contest.
"Southend have scored 33 and conceded 33 in their away matches, which is an interesting statistic," Ward added. "It suggests they can score goals but there are one or two they might ship as well."
Carlisle boast the best home record in the division, having won 17 of their matches at Brunton Park.
