After the break, Hyde saw a sliding cross range shot diverted wide of the right post by Howard.

Hyde slammed home a 16 yard shot but, after consulting with his assistant on the far side, referee Aaron Bannister opted to disallow the goal – seemingly for offside.
Blues responded with a double change in the 76th minute as Wes Fonguck replaced a tiring Husin in midfield and Chris Wreh came on for Hyde up front.
The new look Shrimpers soon threatened with Nathan Ralph heading over a right wing cross from Scott-Morriss before Wrexham replied with Davies headed Ben Tozer’s long throw straight at Andeng Ndi.
