ON LOAN Southend United striker Jake Hyde was left stunned after seeing his goal ruled out against Wrexham.
Hyde appeared to have given the Shrimpers the lead, against his parent club, midway through the second half at Roots Hall.
And Hyde could not believe it when referee Aaron Bannister reversed his decision to allow the goal.
“I haven’t seen anything like that in a 12 or 13 year career,” said Hyde.
“I’ve never seen side a goal given and then seen it taken off about five minutes later.
“Our whole team has celebrated and gone back to the halfway line before the opposing team talk to the referee and change his mind.”
