BLUES reserves are in action at Luton Town this afternoon, kick off 2pm, but striker Hal Robson-Kanu will still be absent.
The on loan Reading forward has been sidelined for a month with an Achilles injury.
But he is still not yet ready to return.
"Hal has started jogging again but he won't be playing today because you have to be careful with Achilles injuries," explained manager Steve Tilson.
"They can go on and on and you only have to look at Che Wilson to see what can happen. He tried to play on and ended up having to have an operation so it makes sense to be cautious.
"I've had an Achilles injury before and they take a while so we're not rushing anything and will only bring Hal back when he's ready."
Despite his absence, the Shrimpers will still field a strong starting line-up against the Hatters with strikers Alex Revell and Charlie MacDonald again involved.
