GREAT Wakering Rovers look to build on their outstanding away form of the campaign in two final trips to opposition territory.

The village side have won no less than eight times on opposition territory and will take that total to double figures if they triumph at Maldon tonight and Northwood on Saturday.

With neither of those sides involved in promotion or relegation issues, a twin glory bid by Rovers is not out of the question.

Wakering's good away form has been in stark contrast to their generally disappointing record at Burroughs Park.

But at least they finished off their home programme in style on Saturday by thrashing Arlesey 6-2.

One man looking to build on that performance will be Neil Richmond, who amazingly grabbed a hat-trick in five minutes to round-off the success for Iain O'Connell's men, who are looking to cement 13th place.

Wakering's "golden oldies" travel to Bromley on Thursday night for the final of the Ryman Veterans Cup (7.30pm).

>GRAYS Athletic, who are still aiming for a top-10 Blue Square Premier Division finish, host Salisbury City in their penultimate home game tonight (7.45pm).

But Mick Woodward's side could be hindered by the lack of a fit goalkeeper after Nicky Eyre suffered knee ligament damage at Northwich Victoria on Saturday.

Manager Woodward is trying to sign a stopper on an emergency loan in time for tonight's game.
