CANVEY'S Concord Rangers could face a tough time tonight when they bid to maintain their bid for the title.
A thrilling three-way fight for the crown, and promotion to the Ryman One North, is being fought out between Concord, Enfield 1893 and Barkingside.
If Concord beat Eton Manor tonight at Thames Road and, Barkingside triumphed at Oakfield last night against Bowers and Pitsea (see back page) the outcome of the championship will be decided when Barkingside host Rangers in the final game on Saturday.
Enfield, who entertain Bowers tomorrow, can only emerge champions now if the other two slip-up.
Concord could find it tough this evening as Tilbury based Eton Manor are the most improved side in the league and are battling for fourth place with Romford.
Also tonight, Southend Manor will be out to cement sixth place in the table when they go to Hullbridge Sports.
Barking v Stansted completes tonight's programme while, on Thursday, Basildon United host Hullbridge. The new towners have enjoyed a late boost to a disappointing campaign and, after their 0-0 draw at Sawbridgeworth last weekend, have taken four points from their last two games.

>SOUTHEND'S White Ensign take on Brentwood Town Reserves for the Essex Premier Cup at Billericay Town's New Lodge ground tomorrow at 7.45pm.
