SOUTH Woodham Ferrers Inline Rollerspeed Skating Team have enjoyed yet more excellent results.

Team members took part in inter-club category races over various distances in Spalding, Lincolnshire, and returned home with four of the seven gold medals up for grabs.

They also won three silvers and one bronze.

Ellie Mullins took gold in category seven, which is the youngest group of skaters.

Taylor Scott and Kieran Shepherd took gold and silver in category six, while the double was repeated with Conor Mullins and Louise Sullivan also taking gold and silver in category five.

In category three, Harry Hoare was the sole South Woodham skater and put in a great performance to take the club's fourth gold medal of the day.

Daniel Smith and Robert Whiting took the club's final medals of the day, taking silver and bronze in category two.

The rest of the team who competed on the day, but did not quite make the medal positions, were: Albert Bishop, Jordan Woodward, Freya Shepherd, George Flemming, Aaron Rowswell and Hannah Bye.

Team coach Chanelle Moore was extremely pleased with the results and is now looking forward to the British Indoor Championships.
