BLUES forward Lee Barnard was forced to miss Saturday's match after feeling a slight niggle in his calf.
"It's nothing serious but there was no need to take a risk on Lee for a game like this," confirmed manager Steve Tilson.
"He only started to feel it on the morning of the match but we want him to be fully fit for the play-offs and I'm sure he will because it's only a slight problem."
On-loan midfielder Anthony Grant also missed out after injuring his heel in the warm-up.
After making 10 substitute appearances during his three-month stint at Roots Hall, he has now returned to Chelsea.
