MONDAY'S FA Affiliated indoor community five-a-side league at Thundersley's SEEVIC College saw Skills to Kill defeat Inter Menan 3-1 in the opening match of the night as Aaron Osborn found himself among the goals again.

The Federation and Rapid FC battled out what was probably the most closely fought match of the season so far.

Both sides had the lead at different stages of the game but it was Rapid who emerged 4-3 winners thanks to goals from Daniel Kenton (2), Jamie Buss and S Linden.

Mack Ladz FC made their league debut and were edged out 2-1 by a hard-working Zulus outfit. Callum Bradford netted for Ladz but it was not enough as they slipped to defeat.

FC Eastwood took on Mayhem in the final match of the night and the former huffed and puffed their way to a 3-1 success, with Sean Butcher again among the goals.

The win lifts Eastwood into second place, just above their opponents but still five points adrift of unbeaten leaders Rapid FC.

There is one place available for a new team to join the league immediately.
