HADLEIGH and Thundersley Cricket Club suffered a 37 run defeat against Colchester in the League Cup.
Colchester batted first and made 193-8, but Hadleigh were bowled out for just 156 in reply.
Despite the defeat there were still some promising performances for Adam Fleming's men at Castle Park, with Ollie Wagstaff (2-39) and Joe Robbins (2-39) both impressing with the ball.
Batting wise, Rich Revell top scored with 54, Joe Robbins hit 32 and Dan Robbins chipped in with 24 but Hadleigh were bowled out with 10 overs remaining.
