TUESDAY'S FA-affiliated community 6-a-side league at Eastwood School Astroturf saw Leigh Boys edge out Lords 1-0 in the opening match of the night.
The victory put Boys in touch with the teams above them in the table.
Tetrelis moved up to third with a hard fought 3-2 win against Wickford in what was a superbly entertaining encounter.
Ben Hallett and James Wong netted for Wickford but Tetrelis snatched a late winner to seal the points.
Bas Vegas remain in pole position after recording a 2-0 success against Harvey's Hotshots. Hotshots remain bottom of the table without a win so far this season.
Roy's Helmets and CJR FC rounded off the night with a classic battle which finished all square at two goals apiece.
There is still one place available for a new team to join the league immediately.
Any new teams wishing to join the league should contact Soccer Sixes on 0870 3300888 or log onto www.soccersixes.net to register online.
