SOUTHEND'S White Ensign stayed on track to win the Essex Olympian League Premier Division title when they triumphed 1-0 at relegation-threatened Bishop's Stortford Swifts with a 35th minute goal from Mitchell Evans in their penultimate match on Saturday.
Now Ensign will take the championship if they triumph at home to major rivals Takeley at Eastwood-bury Lane a week tomorrow - even if the opposition win their other three scheduled games.
