A TRIO of Southend United players are stepping up their return from injuries.
Midfielder Harry Taylor and striker Rhys Murphy are now both back in full training while forward Harry Cardwell has resumed non contact work at Boots & Laces.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher confirmed all three players could feature in an in house game next week.
“All three are doing well and we will look to involve them in the game,” said Maher.
“It’s great to see them back but we will be sensible when it comes to bringing them back.”
Murphy has been out with a knee problem since January while Cardwell has not featured since May due to a knee problem.
Taylor has not played since the opening day of the season after injuring his knee.
