NOTTS County boss Luke Williams has confirmed he is interested in signing Southend United star Jack Bridge.
The left wing-back has been in fine form for the Shrimpers this season.
And Williams – whose table-topping side host Blues on Tuesday night – is keen to bring Bridge to Meadow Lane.
“That’s true,” Williams told the club’s YouTube channel.
“We know Jack is a very, very good player and Southend know that as well.
“Of course we have to always be looking to try and strengthen our squad and there is interest there.
“There is interest in a lot of players but this one everyone knows about and it’s out there in the public.
“It’s no more than that at the moment and we’re trying to see if there’s anything that can be done.”
Bridge is top scorer for the Shrimpers this season having hit the back of the net eight times.
